My husband and I moved at the end of May. We are still in Seattle but closer to downtown. The neighborhood is stunning and very walkable. We even have a farmers market outside our door!
In Other News:
I went to Seattle Fashion Week at the Emerald City Trapeze Arts. I never do anything fun in the city so this was a bit outside of my comfort zone. I was surprised to see so many fashion obsessed folks in one space.
Before the show I met up with Kelly from Sweet Kelly Anne. She invited me to the show. It was our first time meeting. We were introduced to each other by a mutual friend. We had dinner at Fonda La Catrina and hit it off immediately. I can’t wait for our next meet up.
Last week I had dinner with Camilla from Avenue Camilla. She isn’t blogging anymore, but do check out her amazing Instagram account (updated daily). Camilla is so personable and fun. I felt inspired after meeting with her.
I wore this dress to Seattle Fashion Week. It’s an oldie but goodie. I love the silk fabric and the polka dot print. The cinch waist is much needed and provides a flattering silhouette. The shoes are my go-to for weddings and events and are perfect for a night out on the town.
It’s good to back. See you Thursday!
Of course it’s from J Crew. Haha! Looking adorable!
love love love! Hope your move wasn’t too stressful! 🙂
Thanks Dee. It went pretty smooth.
Oh wow!
So cool to see you meeting with other bloggers in the area!
Have you synced up with Cara from Carascliche.com? I love her!

Thanks Sophie. You’re so sweet. I appreciate the comment and follow. 🙂
No worries. You’re so thoughtful. Sounds like a fun weekend. What color did you paint your mom’s living room?
That makes sense. It’s a bummer that you felt that that way with instagram. Your blog and photography is stunning. The true followers will come organically. Good for you though, for overcoming the likes/follower thing. I find that the wordpress platform can be challenging in that way too. It’s easy to get caught up. With instagram I just feel bored and have trouble staying engaged. I recently did a clean out of who I followed and that has helped a little. I am now thinking about creating a separate account for my blog because I haven’t told many people about it. It would be nice if I could post blog related stuff on instagram. Happy Monday. Have a good week! 🙂
I can’t wait to hear your take on Seattle Fashion Week and love the polka dots!
Polka dots are always a delightful touch, you look radiant today!
