Good House Cleaning

My husband and I downsized from a house to a condo this past summer. Since the move we have been busy and haven’t had much time to get organized. A few weekends ago I deep cleaned the bathroom and reorganized our linen closet. It was a good time to throw out old sheets, bedding and towels

During the initial cleaning my husband volunteered to deep clean the kitchen. I use the word volunteer lightly. The truth is when I was cleaning he tried to give me advice on how to approach the work. I quickly dismissed him and said, “If you want to help, go clean something!” Shortly after, my husband began deep cleaning the kitchen! It looked Immaculate! He even found a great cleaning blog and sent me a link to this house cleaning checklist for future cleaning. Genius!

After the linen closet was organized I wanted to take it a step further and find the best way to fold towels and sheets. I searched Pinterest for ideas and decided to do a roundup of what I found.

Best way to fold towels – To get the perfect fold in your towels and save on space watch this video.

Best way to fold a fitted sheet – Fitted sheets are so difficult to fold. Watch this video for a step by step tutorial.

Best way to store sheets  – use a pillowcase to store everything in the bed set. This will eliminate the time you normally would spend finding all of the pieces in a set, plus it looks nice and tidy.

I just watched the video on folding fitted sheets. Not only was it informative, but also rather numerous. I can’t wait to give it a try. I also liked the idea for storing the sheets in the pillowcase! Never would have thought of that. Thanks for the info!

The idea of putting a set of sheets in the pillow case is brilliant! Thanks for sharing.
